                                 City of Naga,Cebu, also known as"Industrialized town of Cebu, is a province of southern Cebu.Naga is a part of metropolitan area informally called as Metro Cebu.It is located 20 kilometers from Cebu City with a geographical coordination of 10* 12' 27" North, 123* 45' 32".According to the 2007 census,it has a population of 95,163 people.Due to its industrialized status,many establishments have been built including the newly-constructed fossil-fuelled power plant known as KEPCO which is a part of National Power Corporation.Beside the newly-constructed power plant is the Salcon Power Corporation(SPC).Also Naga is known for its beautiful lamp post located at St.Francis Ocean Park.In the park,there is a doom-like stage with a terrace at the top portion.

                                 Naga,in the recent day,is continuously developing in economic status even the hand of global recession rages over the world.Lots of project related to the infrastructure are being planned for the improvement of the City of Naga.In the field of economic remedy,Naga governments with the aid of Salcon Power Corporation,they planned to build another fossil-fuelled power plant to support the electricity of whole Metro Cebu.In addition,they want to increase the percent of Megawatthour (MwH) that Salcon Power Corporation produced.Through the help of the official of KEPCO,the fossil-fuelled power plant has established.This two well-known fossil-fuelled power plant are located in Colon,Naga.Another plant in the City of Naga is the Apo Cement Corporation which can be found in Tinaan,Naga at about 3 kilometers away from the center of City of Naga.Apo Cement Corporation is one of the oldest plant not only in the City of Naga but the whole Cebu which is well-known for its good quality of producing an excellent quality of cement.It is also used as an export product to other places and also outside country as a basic material for building an establishments,infrastructure,etc.As a result,Naga's investment has increased in percent.

                                On the 10th day of October is the fiesta celebration of City of Naga with their patron saint,St.Francis de Assisi.Now that the day of fiesta is fast approaching,lots of activity are being plan including 1st ever Ms.Naga 2010,Playground Demonstration and so on.There is a fireworks display being lauch before the day of fiesta to show the prosperity,unity and progress of City of Naga.Also during the fiesta,it features sports events such as motorcrossing,kayaking and boxing competition.The activity also involves entertainment like variety show,singing competition and more.During the day of fiesta,lots of people are wandering all over the town of Naga.Some are having a picnic especially the family and the balikbayans and the reunion of siblings.This activities are very common in Naga when there are celebrations.But most often it happen during Fiesta and Christmas season.Fiesta is a nationwide all year celebration throughout the Philippine archipelago.Different patron saints are celebrating with their designated date and place.When there are fiestas,we will experience traditional folk dance festival,which is a bless of past history.Different kinds of traditional folk dances retained for many decades demonstrated by the people in the public places.Just to remind the whole Filipino people not to abolished and forgotten the custom,the culture,and the tradition that they intertwined from generation to generation.Thus preserving the great name of Philippine pride.

                                In the whole month of December,the entire City of Naga celebrates the Feast of the Lights.These includes the competition of christmas lights with very unique,fascinate way of decorating a Christmas masterpiece.This month also celebrates Dagitab Festival,a Naganian version of Pandanggo sa Ilaw.During this festival,contigents from different school compete each other to reach the sweet victory and to sore high the name of their school.Various people,as well as the foreigners,are visiting the Christmas masterpiece of the City of Naga.After the declaring of winners in the Dagitab Festival,a very impressive and beautiful fireworks are being launch.Many people are excited to watch the activity.This activity has been retained even in other places to show the unity and the prosperity of the people on a particular place.Furthermore,this activity is being retained during th month of December to show the unforgettable and true spirit of Christmas.Christmas,as we know it,is a celebration that we people must internalize the true meaning of love and the peaceful living that everyone should do.

                                 St.Francis de Assisi church is located in front of National Road and facing in municipal hall and sports complex.The newly-constructed city hall can be found in the boundary of St.Francis Ocean Park,behind Sergio Osmena Sports Complex.

                                Every night, lots of people are wandering over the place of Naga especially in St.Francis Ocean Park wherein people are having a food trip and reunion.Runners,including the miler and sprinter,took their warm-up exercise before struggling the toughest exercise.Also people are watching the sunrise during dawn inorder to enjoy the new tomorrow.This park has known in which different running events happened.Last marathon,I won the gold in 5k run during the first ever Apo Cemex Run.I am so proud that I won this competition and I did not expect that this achievement would motivate me in other categories in field of track and field.Last year I won 2 golds and 2 silver in Cebu City Olympics.


                                  I am residing in Sindulan, Tinaan, City of Naga, Cebu with my family 31 years from now.During the fiesta of Sindulan with their patron saint, Mother of Perpetual Help, the committee are planning for the big activity.Basketball competition is one of the activity happened during the starting day of the said fiesta.The activity includes Variety Show, Singing Competition, and more. At the day of fiesta, lots of people who were invited are visiting including friends, cousins, and relatives.Sindulanians are very fun of having different entertainments.This characteristics have had known in the entire people who live in Naga.Even those who visited Sindulan, they saw what Sindulanians are.In my part, I have been observing my fellow neighbors and I truly know the characteristics that my neighbors possessed.They are so warm when there is a celebration.They welcome their visitors and then they will having a conversation to know each other especially the friends of their children.This traits have been preserved from generation to generation as a sign of being a Filipino.I hope that Filipinos should sore high the name of the Philippine heritages.I hope that someday,Filipinos,as well as Filipinos who worked outside the country, will understand the true meaning of loving their own country and they will live peacefully.Including the other citizens all over the world,I am hoping that they will aim high and achieve their sweetest goals in life.
